Claire In Two Pictures
Katy took Claire for her first professional pedicure a couple weeks ago. Claire was pretty excited about the whole business. When I told her she seemed quite grown up she said "I know, Dad! I feel like I'm already six!"
I'm doomed.
In other news, Claire lost her first tooth last week. It had been loose for a while, and Katy was worried it would come out while we were in Hawaii, but it popped out right before we left.
I'm not sure who was more excited about the Tooth Fairy, Claire or Katy.

What's the going rate for teeth these days?
It seems like she just got that tooth not too long
ago. Do you have a tooth fairy container so that
the tooth can be found. What a great idea. We
used to have to look all around the pillow and
bed area sometimes to find the precious items -
without waking the one who faithfully put it
under the pillow. Someone in our family lost a
tooth and didn't mention it and put it under the
pillow. The next day they told about it and said
that the tooth fairy hadn't come. We made up something to explain how it had been missed and
suggested that they try one more night. Well,
you know that the tooth fairy came and all was
well. Which one of you was it?
