Got To Start Somewhere

For Christmas I received one of those nifty Atari 2600 10-in-1 joystick games. I was thrilled to see that it includes Adventure, one of my favorites. One of the other games is Asteroids.

Cameron really enjoyed playing Asteroids:

My Little ProtoGamer

He comes so naturally to the glazed look of the gamer, don't you think? I'm so proud!

One other thing - Gravitar for the 2600 is really hard.

I wonder if it has the "Easter Egg" that was in the 2600 version...

Remember what it was?

I think it was a first of its kind...

I would bet it's in there - the game looks like a direct port of the Atari cartridge.

Do you have the old Atari? Or did it conk out long ago? Found a Galaga game in a dark underground dive-bar but on the main strip popular kind of place. Got the high score and got to a level I'd never seen before in one game! Decided that on that iteration I would quit until next time. The second quarter would have only been disappointing. There's a game on TJs PDA/phone that is similar too--Zapp. Very cool.
