When You've Got It, You've Got It
Last night we had some people over for a Christmas party. Late in the evening, I overheard one of my female neighbors saying this to another guest:
"You know Brad is my fantasy guy."
How do you like that?
(Okay, okay - so she was referring to the fact that I am the guy she asks questions about Tolkien and other authors in the fantasy fiction genre. But still...)

Brad, so sorry we didn't make it. I somehow had it in my head that it was a late-evening party. When the time came for us to "start getting ready", I dug out the invitation - that said 4:30 to 7:30. Oops! We hate to be the ones who show up after everyone else has left, so we regretfully skipped it. Next time!
